Best Forex Prop Firms 2026: Top 10 Ranked & Compared
Most forex prop firms sell the same rulebook - a 5% daily loss limit, a 10% maximum loss and a two-phase challenge - so the best forex prop firms are separated by what sits around it: whether the drawdown is static, whether the advertised split is earned or bought at checkout, how fast and how often you can withdraw, and whether the firm has a record worth trusting. We compared the 23 forex and multi-asset firms in our database on those terms. These are the ten we'd buy from, and the five popular names we left out.
The short answer
- Best overall: FTMO — refunded 2-Step fee, a static 10% maximum loss, eight-hour payouts and a regulated broker underneath.
- Best commercial terms: Blue Guardian — 100% of your first $15,000, fees refunded after four payouts, a 24-hour payout guarantee.
- Best static drawdown: FundingPips — a floor that never rises, from $32, with more than $260 million verifiably paid.

The 10 best forex prop firms
FTMO wrote the template every other firm on this list copies, and in 2026 it still runs it best. The 2-Step refunds your fee once you pass and take a payout, so a successful challenge costs nothing. The 2-Step's 10% maximum loss is static, payouts process in about eight hours with no fees, and the December 2025 OANDA acquisition puts a regulated broker underneath the firm and opened a US route. The 2-Step's 80% base split is the weak point, partly offset by the refund; the 1-Step pays 90% but keeps the fee.
Best for: Traders confident of passing, and US forex traders who want the most established counterparty.
Watch out: Both limits count open positions. The 1-Step drops the refund, trails its max loss and adds a 50% Best Day Rule.
Blue Guardian has the strongest commercial terms in forex: you keep 100% of your first $15,000 in profit, then 90%, and your challenge fees come back in full after the fourth payout. Payouts are guaranteed within 24 hours - miss it and you receive 100% of that payout. The Guardian Challenge adds a static maximum drawdown, there is no time limit, and capital reaches $400,000. It ranks second because it excludes US traders and requests run bi-weekly.
Best for: Non-US traders planning to build at one firm, who will use the $15,000 at 100% and the refund.
Watch out: The Standard tier's 5% daily limit is measured from your initial balance. Buy the Guardian tier.
FundingPips pairs a static drawdown on most models with a verified payout record of more than $260 million. The 2-Step Standard - 5% daily, 10% static maximum, 1:100 leverage, no time limit - starts at $32 for $5,000 and runs to $499 for $100,000, all one-time fees. Its split rewards patience: it scales from 60% to 100% depending on how often you withdraw, so a trader who takes payouts infrequently keeps far more than one who withdraws every cycle.
Best for: Non-US traders who want a floor that never rises and can leave profit in the account between payouts.
Watch out: A per-trade risk cap breaches on position size, even on a winner. Accounts stop at $100,000.
Fintokei approves payout requests in seconds, pays Walletory wallets up to $10,000 within seconds and everything else within one business day, covers the withdrawal fees itself, and doesn't freeze the account while it pays. Every program uses a static maximum drawdown, ProTrader has no time limit, and up to three free trial accounts come before you spend anything. ProTrader Swing measures the daily limit on balance rather than equity, so a floating loss overnight cannot breach it.
Best for: Swing traders and anyone tired of waiting days for a payout to be reviewed.
Watch out: US residents excluded, third-party EAs and copy trading banned, 3% max risk per trade, 14-day cycle.
QT Funded is the prop arm of Quant Tekel, a brokerage regulated in the UK and South Africa, and it backs that with a 4.4 Trustpilot rating across roughly 12,000 reviews and more than $17 million paid. QT Prime uses a static 10% maximum drawdown fixed to your initial balance, challenges carry no time limit, and payout cycles can be weekly, bi-weekly or monthly, with bank transfers clearing in under 24 hours in Q2 2026 testing. The standard split is 80%; Prime On-Demand reaches 100% if you meet its targets.
Best for: Traders who weigh counterparty structure heavily and want a static floor.
Watch out: EAs need prior approval, the minimum payout is $110, and risking 75% of drawdown on one position is a breach.
FXIFY is the most permissive firm here for automated and unconventional strategies: EAs, martingale and grid are allowed, no stop loss is required, and there is no consistency rule on the One, Two or Three Phase programs. The Two Phase uses a genuinely static 10% maximum with a 4% daily limit. You can take your first payout on demand after one closed trade, and it refunds 100% of your fee. A Mauritius dealer licence and a 4.3 Trustpilot score from over 6,000 reviews back it, and US traders are accepted.
Best for: US forex traders and anyone running an EA, grid or martingale system.
Watch out: Base split is 75% - 90% is a paid add-on. After the first payout the default cycle is monthly.
Hola Prime's payout record is the best evidenced in forex: Deloitte audited every transaction from October 2025 to March 2026 and found 98.35% processed within an hour, an average under 34 minutes, and zero denials. The fee is refunded as 25% of each of your first four payouts, evaluation routes use a static maximum loss, and US traders are accepted. The rules are what hold it back - a mandatory stop loss on funded accounts and a hard breach for risking more than 2% on one trade idea.
Best for: Disciplined traders who already use small, stopped positions and want proof the payout clock is real.
Watch out: The 2% risk rule terminates rather than warns, and every payout route carries a consistency rule.
The5ers sells the cheapest serious forex rule sets anywhere: $19 for a $25,000 High Stakes account and $39 for a $6,000 Bootcamp, both one-time fees with no time limit. High Stakes uses a static 10% maximum drawdown that never moves. Hyper Growth doubles your account at every 10% profit target once funded, which compounds faster than any conventional scaling plan. The trade-offs are an 80% typical split, a fourteen-day payout cycle and an MT4/MT5-only platform list.
Best for: Non-US traders on a small budget who want to compound rather than withdraw.
Watch out: Some traders report withdrawals slower than the stated ~72 hours. No crypto payouts.
FundedNext pays 15% of the profit you make during the challenge, before you're funded - so a profitable attempt that never passes still returns something. Stellar and Evaluation carry no time limit, entry starts around $32 for $5,000, and the rules are the mainstream 5% daily and 10% overall. Live splits reach up to 95%, and payout requests run weekly. It sits ninth on practical limits: payouts go out only by USDT TRC20 or Perfect Money, and US traders are not accepted.
Best for: Non-US traders who expect more than one attempt and are comfortable being paid in crypto.
Watch out: Avoid Express: a 25% gain inside four to eight weeks. 95% is the top of the range, not the start.
InstantFunding's instant model has no profit target, no time limit and no minimum trading days. The 10% drawdown locks permanently at 5% of your starting balance once you are 5% up, and the account doubles at every 10% gain on the way to $1.28 million with no retests. The minimum payout is $25, the lowest we track, settled within 48 business hours. The standard split is 80%; 90% is a paid add-on, and the first payout waits 14 days after your first trade.
Best for: Traders with a proven edge who would rather pay for access than pass a challenge.
Watch out: US traders not accepted. Small accounts cost more per dollar funded than large ones.
How We Ranked the Best Forex Prop Firms
Every firm here starts from the same public Editor Score - profit split, drawdown, payout speed, cost and trust, weighted by one formula. We then weighted the ranking toward evidence: a regulated parent, an audited or long payout record, and a large unsuspended review base count for more than a headline number. That is why FTMO sits first on a 4.1 score, and why three firms with attractive prices - BrightFunded, AquaFunded and Maven - sit outside the ten while Trustpilot has their ratings suspended.
Static vs. Trailing Drawdown in Forex
The single rule that separates good forex firms from average ones is how the maximum loss moves. A static drawdown is set once from your starting balance: on a $100,000 account with 10%, the floor is $90,000 forever. A trailing drawdown rises with your best balance, so banking profit tightens your own limit. Eight of our top ten offer a static floor on at least one route. Where firms trail, it is usually on their one-phase routes - FTMO's 1-Step trails its 10% maximum on the end-of-day balance, and FXIFY's One Phase and BrightFunded's 1-Step both trail at 6%.
Where to find a static maximum loss
| Firm | Route with static drawdown | Max loss / daily |
|---|---|---|
| FTMO | 2-Step Challenge | 10% / 5% |
| Fintokei | Every program | 10% / 5% (ProTrader) |
| FundingPips | 2-Step Standard (most models) | 10% / 5% |
| QT Funded | QT Prime | 10% / 4% |
| The5ers | High Stakes | 10% / 5% |
| FXIFY | Two Phase | 10% / 4% |
| Hola Prime | 1-Step and 2-Step evaluations | 6% (1-Step), 10% (2-Step) |
| Blue Guardian | Guardian Challenge | Static max |
The Real Profit Split: Earned, Scaled or Bought
Forex firms advertise 90%, 95% or 100%, but those figures come three different ways. Some pay it from the start or after a fixed tranche - Blue Guardian's 100% of the first $15,000, then 90%. Some reach it by scaling or behaviour - FTMO's path from 80% to 90%, FundingPips' 60-100% depending on how often you withdraw, QT Prime On-Demand's 100% if you meet its targets. And some sell it at checkout: FXIFY's base is 75%, InstantFunding's 80%, each with 90% as a paid add-on. Add the add-on to the fee before comparing prices.
Payout Speed vs. Payout Frequency
Two numbers decide when money arrives: how often you may request, and how long processing takes once you do. They rarely line up. FTMO processes in about eight hours but on a 14-day cycle. FundedNext lets you request weekly but pays only by USDT TRC20 or Perfect Money. Fintokei approves in seconds on a 14-day cycle. FXIFY lets you take the first payout after one closed trade, then defaults to monthly unless you buy the bi-weekly add-on. Compare both numbers, and check the payout rail works where you live.

Each of these has something genuinely good, but one rule, fee or reputation signal kept it out of the ten.
One-time fees from $5 and EAs, grid and martingale allowed, but accounts cap at $25,000 - the smallest ceiling we found - and MT5 is the only platform.
One of the cleanest rulebooks in forex - no consistency rule, static 2-Step drawdown, no time limit - but Trustpilot has suspended its rating, and the first payout waits 30 days.
Prices from $15 and a 24-hour payout guarantee backed by $1,000, but a suspended Trustpilot rating, a 2% fee on every CFD payout, and Instant accounts that close at -2% floating loss.
Challenges from $9 and a fee refunded on the third withdrawal, but a suspended Trustpilot rating and a $10,000 withdrawal cap per 30 days across all your accounts.
Customisable drawdown and local-currency payouts in 70+ countries, but the 90-100% splits are paid add-ons and a 40% consistency rule applies.
Best forex prop firms: FAQ
What is the best forex prop firm in 2026?
FTMO, for most traders: the refunded 2-Step fee, a static 10% maximum loss, eight-hour payouts and a regulated broker underneath through its OANDA acquisition. Outside the US, Blue Guardian has the best commercial terms, with 100% of your first $15,000 and fees refunded after four payouts.
Which forex prop firms accept US traders?
From this ranking: FTMO (through its OANDA route), FXIFY and Hola Prime. Blue Guardian, FundingPips, Fintokei, QT Funded, The5ers, FundedNext and InstantFunding do not.
Which forex prop firm pays out fastest?
Fintokei approves requests in seconds and pays wallets up to $10,000 within seconds. Hola Prime's Deloitte audit found 98.35% of payouts processed within an hour after review. FTMO processes in about eight hours, but on a 14-day cycle.
Which forex prop firms use a static drawdown?
Fintokei on every program, FundingPips on most models, FTMO's 2-Step, QT Funded's Prime, The5ers' High Stakes, FXIFY's Two Phase, Blue Guardian's Guardian Challenge and Hola Prime's evaluation routes. A static floor is set once from your starting balance and never rises as you profit.
Is the 90% profit split real at forex prop firms?
Check whether it is earned or bought. At FXIFY, InstantFunding, BrightFunded and E8 Markets, 90% is a paid checkout add-on over a 75-80% base. FTMO reaches 90% through scaling, FundingPips through withdrawing less often, and Blue Guardian pays 90% after your first $15,000 at 100%.
Are forex or futures prop firms better?
Forex firms suit traders who want percentage-based rules, MetaTrader or cTrader, and fee refunds. Futures firms routinely pay 90% from the start, use dollar-denominated end-of-day drawdowns and accept US traders as standard. If you trade from the US, the futures side has far more choice.
Our verdict for 2026
Start with FTMO's 2-Step if you expect to pass - the refund makes it free for a trader who passes. Outside the US, Blue Guardian pays the most on your first $15,000, and FundingPips gives you a static floor for $32. Whichever you choose, check whether the split is earned or bought before you pay.
